Shopping Night by MANGO -Roma, May 2010

Fa poc va haver-hi la Shopping night de Mango a Barcelona i em va venir al cap la nit que hi havia anat a Roma l'any passat quan vivia allà. Les imatges parlen per si soles, va ser una gran nit de shopping amb les meves amigues Kristine, Sara, Anaïs, Ana & Esther. Un dia fullejant la revista Glamour havia trobat l'invitació i els hi vaig proposar d'anar-hi, vam decidir que seria una nit a lo "Sex and the City" és a dir, només noies, glamour i diversió, i així va ser. Glamour, martinis, sessions de maquillatge, molta roba per tot arreu, cues als probadors, cues per pagar però sobretot..diversió! Una nit per recordar. :)

The Shopping Night by Mango in Barcelona took place recently and it came to my mind the night I went to this event in Rome last year when I was living there. The pictures speak for themselves, it was a great shopping night with my friends Kristine, Sara, Anaïs, Ana & Esther. One day, flipping through the Glamour magazine I had found the invitation so I proposed them to go. We decided it would be like a "Sex and the City" night, which involves only girls, glamour and fun and it was just like that. Glamour, martinis, make up sessions, loads of clothes everywhere, queues in the fitting room, queues to pay but specially..fun! A night to remember. :)

Mi mancate voi e questi momenti insieme a Roma!

De la 'supermodel' m'agrada el super bolso de Hermès i com combina els colors del seu look amb el del bolso en aquest cas i de la Carlota m'agrada que combini una camiseta totalment bàsica i senzilla amb una faldilla i un Chanel aconseguint un look molt chic.

From the supermodel I like her super Hermès bag and how she combines her outfit colours with the colour of the bag in this case. And from Charlotte I like how she manages to combine a totally simple and basic tee with a skirt and a Chanel to get a very chic outfit.

Kate Moss & Paulina Rubio

El vestit de la Kate és senzill però alhora elegant per una sortida nocturna, el 'però' és que s'ha d'estar com un secall per portar-lo amb dignitat... El vestit vermell de la Pau m'agrada perquè és sutil, gens cenyit, amb mànigues franceses i coll de barco, pel meu gust els complements daurats li treuen una mica de protagonisme al vestit però el look és encertat. Lo matador són les sabates de plataforma bastant ordinàries que he tallat de la foto directament..!:)

Kate's dress is simple but elegant at the same time for a night out. The only 'but' is that you have to be really skinny to wear it with dignity... I like the red dress that Paulina wears because it is subtle, not tight, with french sleeves and boat neck. Gold complemments cover a bit the dress essence but in general the outfit looks well. What 'kills' the outfit is the pair of shoes she's wearing (too ordinary wedges) which I removed from the pic right away...!:)

Madrid photo diary

En marxa, de camí a Madrid des de Barcelona! On the road, on the way to Madrd from Barcelona!

Vaig arribar a contar 5 toros entre Zaragoza i Madrid. One of the bulls that are spread aoround the spanish roads.

La setmana passada em vaig a escapar a Madrid 3 dies (al post d'ahir us esenyava el que em vaig posar un dels dies). Em va donar temps de passejar pel centre, per les zones més concorregudes i emblemàtiques de la ciutat, de veure una mica el desfile militar del 12 d'octubre (ja que hi era hi havia d'anar i la veritat és que va ser bastant distret!), quedar amb amics que tinc a la capital i que feia molt que no veia (Anita, Javi y Vanessa un saludo desde el blog me gusto muuuucho veros! Carlitos de la fuente espero verte la próxima vez!!) i de passejar-me per el barri amb més "catxé" de la ciutat, el barri de Salamanca. La veritat és que és un barri molt maco amb botigues moooolt xules i úniques (ni rastre de l'imperi Inditex perquè us en feu una idea) així que si alguna fashion victim en busca de roba diferent i exclusiva va a Madrid no pot marxar sense passar-hi!

Last week I went to Madrid for 3 days (in yesterday's post I showed you one of my outfits). I got the time to walk around the city center, to the most emblematic places, to take a look at the military parade of the National day, to meet some friends from there that I can´t see often due to distance (it was sooo nice to see them!!) and to walk around the most glamourous quarter of the city, the Salamanca quarter. It is a suuuuper nice quarter with suuuuper cool and unique shops (with no sign of Inditex stores such as Zara, Bershka etc..so that you can have an idea) so if you are a fashion victim who likes different and exclusive stuff and you ever go to Madrid you have to stop by there definitely!
